After prolonged and persistent agitation by the Oriyas the province of Odisha was created on 1936. The individual civil disobedience movement in 1940 followed by quit India movement in 1942. The Government of Odisha maintain separate state identity with 13 districts and today 30 districts covering an area 1,55,707 sq.km. with the population over 4 corers. Odisha is predominantly an agriculture state with more than 80% of the population depend upon farming, the vast majority speak odiya as the mother tongue. Beside that 24% of the population is tribals with 11 other languages.
Dr. D.B. HRUDAYA at the age of 21 experienced personal encounter with GOD while undergoing training program with forest department of Govt. of India. Later resigned the Job in-order to obey the CALL of God and joined with Operation Mobilization(OM) Indian Teams. He was equipped for leadership responsibilities and highly committed to serve poverty-driven communities. After marriage Dr. HRUDAYA & wife HIRONMOYEE both went for further training at YCLT, Yovatmal(MS). On returning they persuaded the ministry with four young committed OM Graduates.

Orissa Follow-Up is without financial guarantees or endowments from any organization. All received funds are receipted. Funds received for the purpose are utilized accordingly. Funds are controlled by the board and every financial year accounts are audited and submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi and Income Tax Authorities of Odisha State. Besides this we also provide the same to the Donors on request.
